Brisbane food!

I just came back from a conference in Brisbane. I am a bit sadden that I couldn’t eat much food other then food from the Hilton hotel. Well the conference at the Hilton hotel provided free lunch and dinner who could blame me?

This was from the dinner buffet. I can really describe the food we had was “so so”. Only the noodles I had in the middle was tasty.

We had finger food one night for dinner at the Hilton and decided to get proper dinner somewhere else. We came across this place nearby that says “best steaks in Brisbane”. Funny that a restaurant around the same area had the same saying.

Pig n whistle – traditional British pub.

Chucky wedges with sweet chili sauce and sour cream. These were not crispy, in fact they taste like they have been boiled.

Double ¼ Pound Beef Burger (half of it). We had the most amazing waitress! Who kindly got our meals half including the steak I shared. She was indeed lovely! I love good customer service makes me return more! My friend told me the burger was very good and that she was really full after even eating half of it.

Angus Rib Fillet 300g, this was my dish. It was so juicy and tender. I was craving more after.

breakfast menu.We waited about 1 hour and more for our food. Was it worth the wait?

Waffles served with cream and chocolate sauce. I managed stole a bite and it was so crispy and heavenly.

All day big breakfast. My bread was burnt so it remained untouched. The eggs were runny, I am not particularly fond of runny eggs. However the rest of it was really filing and was definitely worth the wait.

Brisbane had such gorgeous weather and I had to return back to Sydney’s cold weather.
