Cheese fondue @ Jpb Restaurant Swissotel

I stop at nothing for cheese. Despite being lactose intolerant, nothing will stop me! When a certain Ms Puffi organises a Cheese fondue event, how can I say no? Cheese fondue is $27 per person with each pot ideally to be shared between two. The Cheese fondue surprising isn’t heavy at all, I can definitely taste the wine in it. The mixture consists of gruyere, emmental and raclette.

The selection that comes with the cheese fondue are sausages, bread, gherkins and pickled mini onions. I really disliked the hard bread at first, it was hard and crusty. I would never pick to eat this bread. But it all made sense once dipped into the cheese and becomes lovely and soft ahhh! As a great bonus there is a unlimited top ups!

Look at that beautiful cheese! My partner in cheese fondue sharing also shares a lactose intolerant issue which proves to be quite hilarious because at the end of the night our pot was the one with the least amount of cheese ;)

Of course a dinner isn’t finished without the dessert

Me and the lactose intolerant buddy picked out the – Chocolte soufflĂ© – hokey-pokey mascarpone and vanilla bean ice cream. The dessert was quickly polished off and before you know it we were licking every last drop. That was how good it was.

Creme brulee. How cute is the presentation in the jar?

The peanut butter dessert with a mini milkshake. Presentation looks amazing but I was a bit weird out by the flavourings

Thank you Ms Puffi for organising the food blogger meet up :)
