Lovely Surroundings

The restaurant is very cosy inside and feels like a cottage.

Wagyu Sirloin picked beetroots, onion Jam with sourdough. Love the onion Jam and the wagyu is such a good combo! Would of preferred this without the bread but.

Homemade Linguine with prawns, chilli , baby tomatoes, chorizo and topped with sliced parmesan. Nothing beats homemade pasta very droolworthy.

Cafe Enzo on Urbanspoon

Australian Regional Food Store & Cafe

A trip to Hunters Valley started out at 11am leaving Sydney. We popped by The Australian regional food store and cafe once we arrived. The cafe is overlooking bushland and has a large range of food items available (hello cheese!). Next door is the Small winemakers centre.

Food took a while to come up at very least more then 40 minutes. It was worth the wait. We wanted to order fries but was a little sadden that fries isn’t available going for the next best thing roast Potatoes.

Market fish seared and served with pan juices and garden salad. The market fish ended up being salmon. I normally preferred my salmon sashimi or smoked but this version was absolutely delicious!

Although there wasn’t any fries we ordered a bowl of roast potatoes. These are lovely and crispy. Also probably the best roast potatoes I ever tasted!

Img_5387
Spanish chorizo penne tossed with housemade rich tomato and basil sauce with crumbled feta. I had to order this because chorizo + pasta = win! Sadden when I received this there is olives!. Despite the olives I still enjoyed this dish very much.

I love this cafe and would returned for another visit on the next trip to hunters valley!
