Sydney Food bloggers Spring Picnic

The day started gloomy. Really gloomy. Luckily the rain held so we were in luck :).

It was an awesome day filled with food bloggers and of course food. I didn’t managed to take a photo of all the dishes. My attempt to taste each dish managed to fail me due to so much food. I even found myself doing a lot of halving.

Lovely burgers from the awesome team from Fat Belly Club

Simon also made momofuku styled-ish buns with pulled pork, colesaw and with an awesome bourbon sauce. Nomnoms

There was definitely Oh’s and ah’s when Anna’s cake appeared. She won 1st prize for sweet dish. How awesome is the canon camera =)

Ayana brought among a delicious earl grey tea flavoured cake

Macarons by Ayana. Hand modelling done by Sugarpuffi ๐Ÿ˜‰

Omg I need to go back for more Thai fish cakes by Anita. Find the recipe on Anita’s blog!

Cookie monster cupcakes by Jacq from Penguin says feed me.

More cookie monsters cupcakes by Sook. There was another cookie monster cupcakes but didn’t get to capture it . Awesome cupcakes guys ๐Ÿ™‚

The unforgetable blueberry cheese by Leila

Grab your fork’s bacon and salted caramel Slice. We also have Rosa’s blue kuih on the right. I love how there is a small amount of sweetness.

Fat Belly Club’s shortbreat tartlets that won 2nd prize for sweet dish

Tammi’s tea-ramisu. How awesome are those cups! Big thumbs up for prepping most of it onsite!

Sugarpuffi’s chilli brownies. With a “extra” chilli one naughtyy.

My momofuku Pork buns which looks horribly ugly in the container ewww.

I also won first prize for savoury dish! Wah! Thanks guys :)! But I’m a little confused how to redeemed it x.x

Big thanks to Karen, Billy and nuffnang for organising such an awesome event. Stop by A table for two to see the video of passing the hats.
