EasyWay has recently launch a new range of tea called the Floral series. I was invited to try 5 new drinks from the new range. I asked Miss C to tagged along to help taste! I decided to try them at the Parramatta Store in Westfield on level 1. We were greeted by Anry who is the store manager, who is very lovely and bubbly :). We went into the kitchen behind, it was a little awkward since it was shared with 85 degrees bakery (the staff was a little confused why we were there). I was a little worried about trying teas especially since I am lactose Intolerant, (so is miss C) but the range is lactose free and halal too.
Osmanthus Oolong Tea, the drink tasted very refreshing especially on a hot day. Miss C was happy with this tea
Osmanthus Blended Ice with rainbow Jelly. I liked this version more then the Oolong tea. Miss C found it strange and flavours were a bit complicated, she prefers not to order blended ice in general.
Roselle Green Tea, this was least liked by Miss C and myself. It was pretty strong in sweetness and has a much stronger flavour. There is a fruity taste to it as well. It is something I don’t mind drinking but wouldn’t order it given the choice.
Chrysanthemum Honey Green Tea, the Chrysanthemum is a bit overpowering in this but I don’t mind it at all. Miss C gave it an okay.
Chrysanthemum Blended Ice with green apply jelly. Miss C couldn’t tast the Chysanthemum while I can taste a bit of it. It is a strong in sweetness but I didn’t find it as sweet as Roselle Green Tea.
Roselle blended ice. Anry gave us an extra sample of the Roselle blended Ice, despite not liking the Roselle Green tea much I really like the blended Ice version. Miss C found it a bit sour and likes this version as well.
In the end I liked the Osmanthus Blended Ice the most and the Osmanthus Oolong tea came second. Miss C’s Favourite was the Osmanthus Oolong tea. Roselle Green tea wasn’t bad in taste but we both found it the least favourite. Thank you easyway for the opportunity 🙂 to taste the new range.
